This is our 3rd year celebrating Valentine's Day in our own special Mission Terrace Way. Our "Spread Some Love" Valentine's Project is all about making our neighborhood a better place to live.
This year, positivity was delivered in the form of individualized Valentine's cards, reaching 50 neighbors. This is more than triple the number of valentine deliveries since the project started!
In order to participate, neighbors provided and neighbor's address (and their own address to verify they are also a MT neighbor), and NMTIA did the rest! All cards said "Love having you in the neighborhood" and signed "from a Mission Terrace neighbor." People were given the option to personalized the cards further with a short note, the names of their neighbors, and/or their own name as the card-giver. Each handmade card was then delivered on Valentine's day.
Interested in spreading some positivity next year? Be on the lookout for announcements via email, meetings, facebook, and NextDoor, next year.
Happy Valentine's Day to all. <3
Please Note: NMTIA maintains a “good neighbor” policy in our online presence. We have a fantastic community with a variety of perspectives, beliefs, and feelings about many topics. We believe that differing opinions should not interfere with being good neighbors to each other. We encourage civility and mutual respect, and we remove any posts or comments that are belittling, show hostility, or are discriminatory in nature.
